As a dual-qualified lawyer in both British Columbia and India, Ankita brings a depth of experience to helping clients navigate complex legal challenges. She offers a unique global perspective, informed by her background as an Assistant Professor of Law and an LL.M. from the Indian Law Institute. Before joining our team, she gained valuable experience at one of Canada’s leading national firms as well as at specialized boutique firms. Her ability to bridge two distinct legal jurisdictions, combined with her experience before the BC Supreme and Provincial Courts, makes her a strong asset to the firm.
Driven by a commitment to access to justice, Ankita works closely with Legal Aid BC clients to resolve sensitive family law matters through practical and cost-effective solutions. She is a dedicated advocate who strives to achieve the best possible outcomes while empowering families to move forward with confidence.
Outside the office, Ankita is a busy mother of two who enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. Whether discovering new places with her husband and children or hosting extended family and friends, her passion for people and community enriches both her personal life and professional practice.
