Dan McArthur

Articling Student

Dan brings a broad perspective to the Legal field.

Joining Recovery family Law in 2026 as an articling student Dan brings a unique perspective to the firm.

Dan made the decision to pursue his passion for Law in 2024 and was admitted to the class of 2028 at Thompson River’s University.

Prior to joining Law school Dan was a Realtor in the Fraser Valley for nine years.  He gained experience with transactions including new construction, resale, commercial, agricultural, native lease land and strata title.  He worked with Lawyers navigating the probate process and had various engagements acting as a Court appointed Realtor in Court ordered sales.

Dan completed a Business degree with a minor in Economics in 2012 at the University of the Fraser Valley.  He graduated on the Dean’s list and as an Academic all Canadian Student athlete, he played golf for the Cascades.

Prior to obtaining his Real-estate license he worked in corporate sales and in the tech startup space.

Dan is thrilled to be working with the team at Recovery Family Law and is excited to develop his skills and become a zealous advocate.

Outside of work Dan enjoys exploring the natural beauty of British Columbia with his family- whether it be hiking, skiing, Scuba Diving or mountain biking.  He has two beautiful daughters, two fun loving dogs and has been married to his beautiful wife for over a decade.
